founded in 1850, with only one store in England.
The company was established in the region since 1959,
and is the
Caribbean’s largest furniture, appliance and electrical retailer.
Courts is well known throughout the Caribbean, and its name is
synonymous with quality, affordable furniture and appliances,
flexible credit options as well as innovative marketing promotions.
The company has been a market leader since its inception and its
bright yellow, red and blue buildings dominate major towns across
the many Caribbean islands.

operates over 93 stores in 11 Caribbean countries including, Antigua and
Barbuda, Barbados, Belize,
Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St.
Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, and
Trinidad.
A pioneer in the field of prize promotions, Courts
has distinguished itself from its competitors. The company has
developed a holistic approach to its marketing strategies and is

Courts Caribbean, is the first Courts store in the United
States to serve Caribbean immigrants living in the US, who wish to send gifts to family members in
their countries of birth. The store
will give these descendants access to a simple
commercial mechanism: the customer visits the
store where products are exhibited, chooses the item
or items he or she would like to send; Courts then
delivers to their family members through its stores
or warehouses located throughout the Caribbean.
Courts in the
United States will be positioned as an ethnic and
nostalgic brand, therefore, allowing the Caribbean
Diaspora to feel closer to home.
